Robert Francis "Bobcat" Goldthwait is a multifaceted American entertainer, known for his work as a screen and voice actor, comedian, screenwriter, as well as director of both film and television. He gained prominence in the 1980s as a stand-up comedian, releasing a comedy album titled "Meat Bob" and starring in two televised specials. In the autumn of 1993, Goldthwait had the opportunity to perform as an opening act for the iconic band Nirvana during what turned out to be their final North American tour.
