Jake Lacy
Biography
Jake Lacy, born on February 14, 1985, is a talented American actor celebrated for his diverse roles in both television and film. He gained significant recognition for his role as Pete Miller during the final season of the beloved series The Office. Additionally, Lacy showcased his comedic skills as Casey Marion Davenport in the ABC sitcom Better with You, which aired from 2010 to 2011. His film career includes notable performances alongside Jenny Slate in the 2014 romantic comedy Obvious Child and with Rooney Mara in the acclaimed drama Carol, released in 2015. In 2016, he portrayed the love interest of Olivia Wilde's character in Love the Coopers and starred as Nick Beverly in the Showtime series I'm Dying Up Here from 2017 to 2018.
Originally hailing from Vermont, Lacy completed his high school education at Otter Valley Union High School. He further honed his craft at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA), graduating in 2008. Following his graduation, Lacy navigated various part-time jobs in New York, including positions as a gym receptionist, bar-back, and waiter, all while diligently pursuing acting auditions.
