Timothy Charles Robert Noel Bentinck, the 12th Earl of Portland and Count Bentinck und Waldeck Limpurg, MBE (born on June 1, 1953), is a well-regarded English actor and author, best recognized for his enduring portrayal of David Archer in the BBC Radio 4 program, The Archers.
Bentinck served as a member of the House of Lords from 1997 until 1999. Additionally, he holds the title of Count Bentinck in the Holy Roman Empire's peerage.
