Eddie Parker
Biography
Eddie Parker (December 12, 1900 – January 20, 1960) was an accomplished American stunt performer and actor renowned for his contributions to numerous iconic films, particularly in the genres of westerns and horror. Throughout his career, he took on notable roles in various productions, including serving as the stunt double for Lewis Wilson in the 1943 film "Batman." His filmography also features significant appearances in "The Crimson Ghost," "Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy," where he portrayed the Mummy, and Alfred Hitchcock’s classic "Rear Window." Parker was also involved in many beloved Universal horror films, cementing his status in the industry.
In addition to his work in film, Parker made multiple appearances on the early television series "Tales of the Texas Rangers," where he also executed stunts.
Eddie Parker passed away from a heart attack in 1960, leaving behind a legacy marked by his thrilling performances and unwavering dedication to his craft in the entertainment world.
