Amanda Peet, born on January 11, 1972, is a versatile American actress, writer, and producer. She embarked on her acting journey with minor roles on television before making her film debut in the 1995 drama Animal Room. Peet gained significant attention for her role as Jill St. Claire in the 2000 comedy The Whole Nine Yards, which helped catapult her into the spotlight.
