Rie Murakawa is a talented voice actress, singer, and radio personality hailing from Saitama Prefecture, Japan. She is associated with the talent agency Haikyō and has made a significant impact in the world of anime through her diverse roles. Notable characters she has portrayed include Hotaru Ichijō in the beloved series Non Non Biyori, Escha Malier in Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, Ram in the popular Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, and Anzu in Hinamatsuri.

Murakawa embarked on her music career with her solo debut on June 1, 2016, releasing the double A-side single "Sweet Sensation/Baby, My First Kiss" under the Nippon Columbia label.
