Drew Pinsky
Biography
David Drew Pinsky, widely recognized as Dr. Drew, was born on September 4, 1958. He is a prominent American media figure and a specialist in internal medicine and addiction medicine. Dr. Drew gained significant popularity as the host of the nationally syndicated radio program Loveline, which he helmed from its launch in 1984 until its conclusion in 2016. His expertise and engaging style also led to television roles, including hosting the talk show Dr. Drew On Call on HLN and the daytime show Lifechangers on The CW.
In addition to these endeavors, Pinsky produced and starred in the VH1 reality series Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, along with its spin-offs, such as Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew and Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House. His commitment to discussing mental health and addiction issues has made him a well-respected voice in the field.
