David Sullivan
Biography
David Sullivan hails from Longview, Texas, a tight-knit community with a population of around 70,000. Known for his vibrant imagination and sociable nature, Sullivan discovered his passion for performance at a young age, participating in one-act plays at Spring Hill High School. His natural affinity for the stage shone through as he captivated live audiences. After graduating high school in 1996, he was offered a theater scholarship at Kilgore Junior College but opted instead for an academic scholarship to Baylor University, where he pursued a degree in business, graduating in 2000. While at Baylor, he remained actively involved in the arts, performing in various theater productions, joining the Delta Tau Delta fraternity, and even playing a year of college football.
Sullivan's breakout moment came in 2004 when he played "Abe" in the independent film Primer, which garnered the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival that same year. Although the film was shot in Dallas in 2001, it took two years to complete the editing process. Following the success of Primer, Sullivan relocated to Los Angeles to further his acting career. He has since appeared in a variety of television series, including Joey and Big Love, and has participated in several film projects. Notably, Primer marked not only his first major casting call but also his debut as a leading actor in a feature film, setting the stage for a promising career in the industry.
