Robert Michael Jeter (August 26, 1952 – March 30, 2003) was a distinguished American actor known for his versatile performances across film, stage, and television. Jeter gained prominence through his memorable portrayal of Herman Stiles in the sitcom *Evening Shade*, which aired from 1990 to 1994. His unique charm and comedic flair further endeared him to audiences as Mr. Noodle's brother, Mister Noodle, in the beloved *Elmo's World* segments of *Sesame Street* from 2000 until his passing in 2003.
In addition to his television successes, Jeter's film career was marked by a variety of notable roles that showcased his talent. He appeared in a range of films, including *Zelig*, *Tango & Cash*, and *The Fisher King*.
