Blake Ellender Brown, widely recognized as Blake Lively, was born on August 25, 1987. She hails from a family immersed in the arts, being the daughter of actor Ernie Lively. Her acting career began with a role in her father’s 1998 film, Sandman. Lively gained significant recognition for her breakout performance in the 2005 film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and its follow-up in 2008. However, it was her iconic role as Serena van der Woodsen in the acclaimed CW series Gossip Girl (2007-2012) that catapulted her to international fame.

Throughout her career, Lively has showcased her versatility across various genres. She starred in the ensemble romantic comedy New York, I Love You (2008) and the thought-provoking drama The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (2009).
