Biography
Richard Madden, born on June 18, 1986, in Scotland, is a distinguished actor known for his diverse roles across stage and screen. He began acting at the age of 11, making his television debut in 2000. While studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Madden developed his craft further in theatrical performances. A significant early milestone in his career came in 2007 when he toured as Romeo in Shakespeare's *Romeo and Juliet* with the Globe Theatre, a role he would revisit in London's West End in 2016.
Madden gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Robb Stark in HBO's acclaimed series *Game of Thrones*, which aired from 2011 to 2013. This role catapulted him into the spotlight and led to a series of high-profile projects. In 2015, he starred as Prince Kit in Disney’s live-action adaptation of *Cinderella*, followed by his role as Cosimo de' Medici in the historical drama *Medici* (2016).
