Nayanthara is a prominent Indian actress known for her contributions to Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema. She made her acting debut in the 2003 Malayalam film, Manassinakkare, and quickly followed it up with another Malayalam project, Vismayathumbathu, in 2004. In 2005, she made her entry into Tamil films with Ayya, and a year later, she ventured into Telugu cinema with Lakshmi. Following these debuts, Nayanthara emerged as the leading actress in a series of successful films across both the Tamil and Telugu industries.

Her remarkable performance as Sita in the film Sri Rama Rajyam (2011) garnered her the Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress, along with the Nandi Award for Best Actress.
