Carrie Alexandra Coon, born on January 24, 1981, is a prominent American actress recognized for her nuanced performances across both stage and screen. Her impressive work has earned her a Critics' Choice Television Award and multiple nominations, including three Primetime Emmy Awards and a Tony Award.

Coon gained widespread recognition for her role as Nora Durst in the critically acclaimed television drama series The Leftovers, which aired from 2014 to 2017. She received her first Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Gloria Burgle in the third season of the anthology series Fargo in 2017. Her subsequent nominations included Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her performance as Bertha Russell in The Gilded Age, which began in 2022, and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Laurie Duffy in the third season of The White Lotus, set to air in 2025.
