Helen Westcott, born on January 1, 1928, in Los Angeles, California, and passing away on March 17, 1998, in Edmonds, Washington, was an accomplished American actress known for her work on stage and screen, including her early career as a child performer. She was the daughter of Gordon Westcott, who was a prominent actor at Warner Bros. but tragically passed away when Helen was just seven years old in 1935.

Westcott garnered attention for her role alongside Gregory Peck in the iconic 1950 western film, The Gunfighter. Additionally, she became widely recognized for her performance in the 1953 comedy-horror film Abbott and Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, directed by Charles Lamont.

In the late 1950s, she transitioned from film to television, appearing in a variety of notable series, including Perry Mason, Bonanza, and The Twilight Zone. As her career progressed, Westcott returned to her theatrical roots, performing on stage in works such as Anthony Mann's God's Little Acre in 1958. Throughout her life, Westcott's contributions to the entertainment industry showcased her versatility and talent across multiple mediums.
