Ruth Wilson MBE, born on January 13, 1982, is a talented English actress celebrated for her diverse roles across television and film. She gained significant acclaim for her portrayal of the titular character in the 2006 adaptation of Jane Eyre. Wilson's chilling performance as Alice Morgan in the BBC's psychological crime drama Luther, aired from 2010 to 2013 and returned in 2019, solidified her status as a compelling actress.
