Jim Van Bebber
Biography
Jim Van Bebber is an accomplished actor and director recognized for his work in the horror and exploitation film genres. He pursued his education in cinema at Wright State University. Rather than opting for a bank loan to fund his second year of studies, he chose to invest that money into producing his film Deadbeat at Dawn. This decision led him to establish the independent film company Asmodeus Productions alongside several partners. His ambitious project, The Manson Family, took over a decade to complete, showcasing his dedication to the craft. In 2015, a documentary titled Diary of a Deadbeat: The Story of Jim VanBebber was released, chronicling his life and career from 2010 to 2015. This film offers an insightful glimpse into Van Bebber's journey and the challenges he faced in the independent film industry.
