Biography
Dakota Mayi Johnson, born on October 4, 1989, is a prominent American actress known for her diverse roles in film. She hails from a family of actors, being the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. Johnson's acting journey began at a young age when she made her film debut at just ten years old in *Crazy in Alabama* (1999), a project directed by her then-stepfather, Antonio Banderas, featuring her mother.
After completing high school, Johnson pursued her passion for acting and landed a minor role in the critically acclaimed film *The Social Network* (2010). However, it was her leading role in the *Fifty Shades* series (2015–2018) that catapulted her to international fame. Her performance garnered her a nomination for the BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2016, and she was recognized in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list.
