Charles Meredith (August 27, 1894 – November 28, 1964) was a prominent American actor known for his contributions to both film and television. Hailing from Knoxville, Pennsylvania, Meredith gained fame during the silent film era, where he established himself as a leading man. He starred alongside renowned actresses such as Blanche Sweet, Mary Miles Minter, and Florence Vidor, showcasing his versatility in romantic dramas and comedies.

In 1924, Meredith transitioned from the silver screen to the stage, where he pursued theatrical performance for several years. However, he made a notable return to cinema in 1947, taking on various character roles that demonstrated his enduring talent. As his career progressed, Meredith also ventured into television, most famously portraying Secretary Drake in the 1954 series "Rocky Jones, Space Ranger." He further showcased his acting skills with guest appearances as a physician in three episodes of the classic series "The Lone Ranger."
