Gerry Bednob, born Gerald Baldeo in either 1935 or 1936, is a Trinidadian-American actor and comedian renowned for his comedic performances in various films. He gained widespread recognition for his memorable roles in popular comedies such as *The 40-Year-Old Virgin*, *Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story*, and *Encino Man*.

Bednob's journey began in Trinidad and Tobago, from where he relocated to Canada in 1963. He pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor’s degree in sociology, and initially worked as a school counselor. However, his passion for comedy led him to explore stand-up, and by the late 1970s, he moved to Los Angeles, where he eventually became a naturalized citizen.

His acting career took off in 1993 with a guest appearance on the beloved television series *The Wonder Years*. Since then, he has built an impressive portfolio, featuring in various television shows and films that showcase his unique comedic style.
