Biography
Kimberly Elise Trammel, born on April 17, 1967, is a talented American actress known for her powerful performances across film and television. She honed her craft at the University of Minnesota, where she studied film and acting, ultimately earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications. Elise made a significant impact in the film industry with her debut in the acclaimed film "Set It Off," and her role in "Beloved" further solidified her reputation as a skilled actress.
Over the years, Elise has showcased her versatility in a variety of films, including "John Q" (2002), "The Manchurian Candidate" (2004), "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" (2005), "The Great Debaters" (2007), "For Colored Girls" (2010), "Dope" (2015), "Almost Christmas" (2016), "Death Wish" (2018), and "Ad Astra" (2019).
