Anna Lee, MBE (originally named Joan Boniface Winnifrith; born on January 2, 1913, and passed away on May 14, 2004) was a renowned British actress. She tied the knot with director Robert Stevenson in 1933 and relocated to Hollywood six years later, in 1939. Lee became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 1945. Her life took a tragic turn in 1981 when a car accident resulted in her being paralyzed from the waist down.

Throughout her career, Lee gained recognition for her work in film and television, earning her place as a beloved figure in the entertainment industry.
