David Kaye

Biography

David Andrew Kaye, an accomplished artist hailing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, found his artistic footing in Vancouver, British Columbia. He made his film debut in the critically acclaimed, Academy Award-winning movie "Legends of the Fall" in 1994, portraying the character Samuel Decker. Transitioning from child actor to voice artist, Kaye gained prominence in 2001 as the voice of Noddy in the animated series "Make Way for Noddy," lending his voice to over 100 episodes.

Kaye's journey took a pivotal turn during his time at the University of British Columbia, where he enrolled in a film production class that ignited his passion for filmmaking. In 2008, he co-founded Whiskaye Films alongside Jameson Parker, setting the stage for his creative pursuits. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 2011 and soon after, showcased his talent in live theater, including multiple award-winning performances in the hip-hop Shakespearean musical "The Bombitty of Errors."

Simultaneously, Kaye produced numerous music videos through Whiskaye Films and collaborated with renowned writer-director Tyler Funk at North of Now Films, creating branded content and commercials that attracted millions of views and earned several accolades. In 2015, he took on the dual roles of producer and voice actor for the animated series "White Ninja." Additionally, Kaye is known for his work in "3000 Miles to Graceland" (2001), solidifying his diverse contributions to the entertainment industry.
