Aisling Loftus
Biography
Aisling Loftus is a talented English actress, born to Irish parents Paddy and Eileen, and she has an older sister named Aoife. Her journey into acting began at the young age of nine at the Carlton Workshops. Following her passion, she pursued her A-Levels at Becket School in Nottingham. Loftus first graced the screen in 2000 with her television debut in an episode of the long-running series Peak Practice, at just 10 years old.
She went on to showcase her versatility in a range of television dramas, including notable appearances in Casualty, Doctors, and The Bill in 2008. Aisling also starred in the ITV comedy-drama The Fattest Man in Britain alongside Timothy Spall and Bobby Ball, which helped establish her as a prominent figure in British television.
In 2008, her rising star was recognized when Screen International named her a 'Star of Tomorrow.' Loftus further gained critical acclaim for her role in the short film Jade, directed by Daniel Elliott, which earned a Silver Bear at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival in 2009. Aisling Loftus continues to captivate audiences with her performances, solidifying her status as a remarkable actress in the entertainment industry.
