Fiona Glascott
Biography
Fiona Glascott is a talented Irish actress known for her diverse performances across film, television, and stage. She garnered significant recognition in 2003 when she was nominated for an Irish Film and Television Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in *Goldfish Memory*.
In London’s West End, Glascott has captivated audiences with her portrayals in notable productions, including Margery Pinchwife in *The Country Wife*, and roles in *Mahler's Conversion* and *Hitchcock Blonde*. She also starred in the original run of *Whipping It Up* at the Bush Theatre. Her stage credits in Dublin include performances in *A Life* at the Abbey Theatre and *The Spirit of Annie Ross* at the Gate Theatre, as well as playing Nina in *The Seagull* for the Corn Exchange.
On television, Glascott has appeared in several acclaimed series, such as *Foyle's War*, *Poirot: After the Funeral*, *Jericho*, and the BBC sitcom *Clone*, where she portrayed Rose Bourne. She also featured in the RTÉ series *Bachelors Walk*, directed by John Carney.
Her film work includes roles in *Omagh*, *This Is My Father*, and *The Deal* alongside Hollywood stars William H. Macy and Meg Ryan. In the 2009 CBS film *Miss Irena's Children*, she shared the screen with Anna Paquin and Marcia Gay Harden, and in 2010, she guest-starred in the finale of ITV's *A Touch of Frost*. Glascott also appeared as Diane, Matt LeBlanc’s ex-wife, in the BBC sitcom *Episodes* in 2011.
