Sandrine Kiberlain
Biography
Sandrine Kiberlain, born on February 25, 1968, in Boulogne-Billancourt, is a renowned French actress and singer. Known for her compelling performances, she has frequently collaborated with director Laetitia Masson and has also worked with Benoît Jacquot.
In recognition of her talent, Kiberlain was awarded the prestigious Prix Romy Schneider in 1995. Beyond her acting prowess, she ventured into music, releasing her debut album, "Manquait plus qu'ça," in 2005, which garnered acclaim in France. Her musical journey continued with the release of her second album, "Coupés bien net et bien carré," in October 2007.
Kiberlain, originally named Sandrine Kiberlajn, has a rich heritage; her grandparents were Polish Jews who immigrated to France in 1933. She honed her craft at Cours Florent from 1987 to 1989 and later at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique (CNSAD) from 1989 to 1992.
Throughout her career, Kiberlain's versatility has made her a prominent figure in French cinema and music. She was previously married to actor Vincent Lindon, further intertwining her life within the artistic community.
