Biography
Sam Lee Chan-Sam (李燦森), born on September 27, 1975, in Hong Kong, is a prominent actor and musician. His cinematic journey began when he caught the attention of director Fruit Chan, who cast him in the 1997 film "Made in Hong Kong" (香港製造), marking the start of his film career. In 2002, Lee showcased his versatility by appearing in the Japanese movie "Ping Pong" (ピンポン) as one of the key contestants. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Sha Jang in the acclaimed television series "The Monkey King: Quest for the Sutra" (齊天大聖孫悟空), released in the same year.
Beyond acting, Sam Lee is an integral part of the Hong Kong music scene as a rapper in the metal/hip-hop band Lazy Mutha Fucka (LMF), further expanding his artistic repertoire. He is also known by his stage name, DJ Becareful, demonstrating his dynamic presence in the entertainment industry.
With a career spanning over two decades, Sam Lee continues to leave a significant mark on both film and music, captivating audiences with his multifaceted talents and contributing to the cultural landscape of Hong Kong.
