Biography
Efren Antonio Ramirez, born on October 2, 1973, is a prominent American actor celebrated for his role as Pedro in the cult classic film Napoleon Dynamite. This breakout performance catapulted him into the spotlight and set the stage for a dynamic and varied acting career.
Before achieving fame, Ramirez made numerous guest appearances on popular television shows, showcasing his versatility in series such as E.R., American Dad, Judging Amy, The District, MAD TV, and Scrubs. His portrayal of Pedro marked a turning point, leading to numerous opportunities in both film and television.
Following the success of Napoleon Dynamite, Ramirez starred in a range of projects, including the HBO film Walkout alongside Edward James Olmos, the romantic comedy Employee of the Month with Dane Cook and Dax Shepard, and the action-packed films Crank and Crank: High Voltage, where he notably played a twin brother.
