Debbie D, born Deborah DePaul on April 30, 1972, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a multifaceted talent known for her work as an actress, model, and singer. She began her career as a singer/songwriter, leading various bands during her high school years and touring extensively along the East Coast. Her debut album, "I Want You in My Life," released in 1992, achieved international acclaim, selling well across multiple countries.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Debbie gained recognition in the modeling world while still in high school, gracing the pages of notable publications like Draculina, Femme Fatale, and Outlaw Biker. Her acting career took off in the 1990s, and she has been a consistent presence in the film industry since then. One of her standout appearances is as the Brown Haired Mermaid at the annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade, a role she has embraced for many years.
Debbie is perhaps most famously recognized for her alter ego, Destiny - Vampire Mermaid, a character that has captivated audiences in the monthly Scary Monsters magazine. To maintain her athletic and petite physique, she engages in aerobic and power step classes at least twice a week.
