Marina Berti, born Elena Maureen Bertolini on September 29, 1924, in England, was a prominent Italian film actress who passed away on October 29, 2002.
Berti made her film debut in 1941 with the Anna Magnani classic, La Fuggitiva. Over her extensive career, she was predominantly cast in minor roles, though she occasionally landed leading parts, appearing in nearly 100 films across both Italian and American cinema. Notable titles in her filmography include Quo Vadis (1951), Abdulla the Great (1955), Ben Hur (1959), and Cleopatra (1963). Her work also spanned into the 1970s with films such as If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium (1969), What Have They Done to Your Daughters? (1974), and Night Train Murders (1975). Additionally, Berti featured in significant television miniseries such as Moses the Lawgiver (1975) and Jesus of Nazareth (1977).
