Fabrizio Bentivoglio
Biography
Fabrizio Bentivoglio, born on January 4, 1957, in Milan, Italy, is a prominent actor in both film and theatre, as well as a talented screenwriter. With a father from Venice, Bentivoglio initially pursued a career in sports, playing for Inter's youth team. However, an injury to his left knee led him to abandon athletics and instead follow his passion for acting, enrolling at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan.
He made his theatrical debut in William Shakespeare's "Timone d'Atene" and soon expanded his artistic endeavors to include cinema. While continuing his medical studies, he relocated to Rome, where he co-founded the Tipota Movie Company alongside Dario de Luca and in collaboration with Studio Universal.
Bentivoglio has also collaborated with the musical group Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel, presenting a show titled "La guerra vista dalla luna." His creativity extends to filmmaking, exemplified by his short film "Típota," produced in 1999, as well as a successful tour where he showcased his original songs.
Notably, his voice features in the soundtrack of "Eternity and a Day," a film by director Theo Angelopoulos, which includes the track "The Poet." Bentivoglio's diverse talents and contributions to the arts have solidified his standing in the Italian cultural landscape.
