Biography
Theodore Scott Glenn, born on January 26, 1939, is a distinguished American actor known for his versatile performances across film, television, and theater. Over the decades, Glenn has captivated audiences with his compelling portrayals in a variety of genres.
His early career saw him shine as Pfc Glenn Kelly in Robert Altman's acclaimed film Nashville (1975). He continued to build his repertoire with notable roles, such as Bill Lester in She Came to the Valley (1979) and Wes Hightower in Urban Cowboy (1980). Glenn made a significant impact in the 1983 film The Right Stuff, where he played astronaut Alan Shepard, further establishing his reputation as a talented actor.
In the 1990s, he garnered critical acclaim for his performances in several high-profile films, including Captain Bart Mancuso in The Hunt for Red October (1990) and Jack Crawford in The Silence of the Lambs (1991). His work in the action-drama genre continued with appearances in Backdraft (1991) and Absolute Power (1997). Later, he portrayed Ezra Kramer in The Bourne Ultimatum (2007) and Chris Chenery in Secretariat (2010).
