Elisabeth Singleton Moss, born on July 24, 1982, is an accomplished American actress and producer, widely recognized for her impactful performances in various television dramas. Her talent has been acknowledged with two Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards, earning her the title of the "Queen of Peak TV" from Vulture.

Moss embarked on her acting career in the early 1990s, gaining initial fame for her role as Zoey Bartlet, the youngest daughter of President Josiah Bartlet, in the NBC political series The West Wing, which aired from 1999 to 2006. She garnered further acclaim for her portrayal of Peggy Olson, a secretary who evolves into a copywriter, in the AMC series Mad Men, which ran from 2007 to 2015. Her performance in the BBC miniseries Top of the Lake (2013) earned her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film. Additionally, she received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work in the Hulu series The Handmaid's Tale, where she also serves as a producer.
