Anne Jeffreys
Biography
Anne Jeffreys, born Annie Jeffreys Carmichael on January 26, 1923, in Goldsboro, North Carolina, was a multifaceted American actress and singer whose career spanned several decades. A talented soprano, she initially pursued a path in opera, earning a scholarship with the New York Municipal Opera Company where she performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, showcasing her skills in operatic classics such as La bohème and La traviata.

Notably, she played the role of John Dillinger's moll in the 1945 film Dillinger, solidifying her status as a versatile performer.
