Ray Lovelock
Biography
Ray Lovelock, born on June 19, 1950, in Rome, Italy, to an English father and an Italian mother, discovered his passion for acting during his teenage years while studying in college. To supplement his income, he initially took on roles as an extra in films and television commercials. His big break came when an agent spotted him performing at The Piper nightclub in Rome, leading to his debut role in the film Djanjo Kill. However, it was his performance in Bandits in Milan that truly propelled his acting career forward.
Lovelock is well-known for his roles in several notable horror films, including portraying David in the chilling Queens of Evil, George in The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue, Edgar in Autopsy, and Aldo in Terror. Additionally, he gained recognition for his recurring role as Hans Rudolf in the popular television series Incantesimo.
In his personal life, Lovelock is married to Gioai, who also serves as his agent. The couple met in 1968 and tied the knot in 1970. They welcomed their daughter, Francesca Romana Lovelock, in 1971, who has pursued a career as an assistant director in Naples. A passionate soccer enthusiast, Ray serves as the captain of a team comprised of Italian actors, participating in matches to raise funds for charitable causes.
