Biography
Caroline Dhavernas is a talented French-Canadian actress renowned for her compelling performances in both film and television. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Jaye Tyler, the quirky protagonist in the cult TV series "Wonderfalls." Additionally, she captivated audiences as Dr. Alana Bloom in the critically acclaimed series "Hannibal." Dhavernas also took on the role of Lily Brenner in the ABC medical drama "Off the Map." From 2017 to 2019, she starred as the lead character in the darkly comedic Canadian medical drama "Mary Kills People," which was both produced in Canada and distributed in the U.S.
Born in Montreal, Quebec, Caroline hails from a family deeply rooted in the arts. Her parents, Sébastien Dhavernas and Michèle Deslauriers, are both celebrated Québécois actors. Following in her family's footsteps, her sister Gabrielle Dhavernas is also an actress, particularly known for her work in dubbing, where her similar voice qualities allow her to dub Caroline’s performances. Caroline's early education at The Priory School, an English-speaking institution, enabled her to become proficient in English at a young age, further enhancing her versatility as an actress.
