Jeremy Lee Renner, born on January 7, 1971, is a renowned American actor best known for his dynamic performances in both independent and blockbuster films. He initiated his acting journey in the early 2000s, featuring in indie projects like Dahmer (2002) and Neo Ned (2005). Renner gradually transitioned into larger roles, gaining recognition in films such as S.W.A.T. (2003) and 28 Weeks Later (2007).

His breakthrough came with his gripping portrayal in The Hurt Locker (2008), which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. He followed this with another Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Town (2010).
