John Slattery
Biography
John M. Slattery, Jr. (born August 13, 1962) is an accomplished American actor and director, recognized for his compelling performances across both television and film. He gained widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Roger Sterling in the critically acclaimed AMC series Mad Men, a role that showcased his remarkable talent and earned him several award nominations.
In addition to Mad Men, Slattery has appeared in a variety of notable projects, including his role as Frank Jaffe in the film Confess, Fletch, and as Howard Stark, the father of Tony Stark, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His versatility is evident in his performances as Paul LeBlanc on FOX’s NEXT, Dwight Eisenhower in Churchill, and Lyle Bettencourt on CBS's The Good Fight. He also made memorable appearances in films such as The Adjustment Bureau, where he played Richardson, and in Charlie Wilson's War as Cravely. Other significant roles include Bud Gerber in Flags of Our Fathers, Peter Benedict in WB's Jack & Bobby, and FBI Agent Corman in Eraser.
