Jing Lusi
Biography
Jing Lusi, born on May 16, 1985, is a talented actress with Chinese and British heritage. She is widely recognized for her performances in notable projects such as Stan Lee's Lucky Man, the acclaimed 2018 film Crazy Rich Asians, and the BAFTA-nominated series Gangs of London. Jing also showcased her stage skills as part of the original cast in the European premiere of Amy Herzog's play, 4000 Miles. In addition to her acting career, she has worked as a presenter for the BBC and was featured in the documentaries My Chinese New Year (2015) and Chinese New Year: The Biggest Celebration on Earth (2016).
Originally hailing from Pudong, Shanghai, Jing relocated to the UK with her family at the young age of five. Her family settled in Southampton after her father received a scholarship to pursue a master’s degree at the local university. Jing furthered her education at Peter Symonds College in Winchester before going on to study law at University College London. Her diverse background and strong educational foundation have contributed to her successful career in the entertainment industry, where she continues to make a significant impact.
