William Francisco Cobbs, born on June 16, 1934, and who passed away on June 25, 2024, was a distinguished American actor celebrated for his diverse roles across film and television. Cobbs gained acclaim for his portrayal of Louisiana Slim in the 1979 film *The Hitter* and left a lasting impression as Walter in the acclaimed sci-fi film *The Brother from Another Planet* (1984). His film career continued to flourish with memorable performances, including Reginald in the popular *Night at the Museum* (2006) and Master Tinker in *Oz the Great and Powerful* (2013).
