George Meeker
Biography
George Meeker (March 5, 1904 – August 19, 1984) was an American actor known for his roles in films and on Broadway. While he appeared in various productions, his off-screen persona often overshadowed his on-screen performances, making him somewhat of a legend in the entertainment industry. Among his film credits are notable works such as Crime, Inc. (1945) and Thief in the Dark (1928). Additionally, he had an uncredited role in All Through the Night (1941).
In recognition of his contributions to cinema, Meeker was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a testament to his impact on the film industry. Despite not being a household name, his work and presence in the acting community left a lasting impression.
