David Wayne Spade, born on July 22, 1964, is a celebrated American actor, comedian, and television personality. He rose to prominence in the 1990s as a prominent cast member on the iconic sketch show Saturday Night Live. Spade's comedic talents shone brightly during this period, leading to his role as Dennis Finch on the sitcom Just Shoot Me!, which aired from 1997 to 2003. In addition to this, he portrayed C.J. Barnes in the popular series 8 Simple Rules, sharing the screen with notable stars such as Katey Sagal, James Garner, and Kaley Cuoco.
