John Kerry
Biography
John Kerry is a prominent American politician and diplomat, currently holding the position of the first United States special presidential envoy for climate. His extensive career in public service includes a notable tenure as the 68th Secretary of State from 2013 to 2017. An accomplished attorney and former naval officer, Kerry initially gained recognition as a decorated Vietnam War veteran who transitioned into a vocal anti-war activist.
Kerry's political journey began in Massachusetts, where he served as a prosecutor and later as the Lieutenant Governor.
