Helen Ann Richardson Khan, widely recognized simply as Helen, was born on October 22, 1939. This Indian actress and dancer, of Anglo-Indian and Burmese heritage, has made an indelible mark on Hindi cinema over her remarkable 70-year career. With appearances in more than 1,000 films, she became renowned as one of the leading nautch and cabaret dancers during her prime.
