Biography
Kim Seok-jin, popularly known as Jin, was born on December 4, 1992, and is a prominent South Korean singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor associated with BigHit Music. He is a vital member of the globally acclaimed boy band, BTS.
Jin has showcased his musical talents through several solo tracks with BTS, including "Awake" (2016), "Epiphany" (2018), and "Moon" (2020), all of which achieved success on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. Additionally, he has independently released three digital singles: "Tonight" (2019), "Abyss" (2020), and "Super Tuna" (2021), further establishing his versatility as an artist. In October 2022, Jin made his solo debut with the single "The Astronaut," marking a significant milestone in his career.
His contributions to the music industry and Korean culture have not gone unnoticed. In 2018, Jin, alongside his fellow BTS members, received the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit from the President of South Korea, recognizing their significant impact on cultural promotion.
