Biography
Cecil Taylor Nichols, born on March 3, 1959, in Lansing, Michigan, is a prominent American actor recognized for his performances in the films directed by Whit Stillman, including Metropolitan, Barcelona, and The Last Days of Disco. In these films, Nichols portrayed characters who were often insecure and stuttered, serving as the anxious counterparts to the more charismatic character played by Chris Eigeman. In addition to his notable roles in Stillman’s works, Nichols and Eigeman appeared together in a supporting capacity in the independent film The Next Step, which was released in 1997. Nichols also contributed to the film as an associate producer, showcasing his involvement in various aspects of filmmaking.
