Clotilde Hesme
Biography
Clotilde Hesme, born on July 30, 1979, in Troyes, Aube, is a notable French actress. She is part of a family of performers, having two sisters, Annelise and Élodie Hesme, who are also established actresses in their own right.
Hesme honed her craft at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique (CNSAD), where she developed her acting skills before making her film debut in Jérôme Bonnel's "Le Chignon d'Olga" in 2002. Her talent caught the attention of critics and audiences alike when she starred in Philippe Garrel's "Regular Lovers" in 2005. Her performance in Christophe Honoré's "Love Songs" earned her a nomination for the César Award for Most Promising Actress in 2008, showcasing her growing reputation in French cinema. That same year, she was also nominated for a Molière Award for her role in Marivaux's "La Seconde Surprise de l'amour." Her impressive work on stage and screen culminated in her receiving the SACD Plaisir du théâtre prize in 2009, further solidifying her status as a prominent figure in the performing arts.
