Spice, born Grace Latoya Hamilton on August 6, 1982, in Saint Catherine, Jamaica, has carved a significant niche in the music industry. During her time at St. Catherine High School, she showcased her musical talents by actively participating in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) festival, where she garnered multiple awards for her performances. Initially aspiring to be a chartered accountant, Spice ultimately chose to follow her passion for music, leading her to enroll at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts to hone her skills in music and drama.

Emerging as a prominent figure in the dancehall genre, Spice is celebrated for her powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence. She gained widespread recognition with hits like "So Mi Like It" and "Romantic Mood," which solidified her status as a leading artist in the industry.
