Bret Sergeant Hart, a renowned Canadian wrestler, actor, and writer, has left an indelible mark on the world of professional wrestling. Born into the esteemed Hart wrestling family, he honed his skills in amateur wrestling at Ernest Manning High School and Mount Royal College. Known for his technical prowess, Hart earned the nickname "The Excellence of Execution," alongside his iconic persona as "The Hit Man." His distinct pink and black ring attire, paired with signature mirrored sunglasses, made him a fan favorite, often gifting the shades to young spectators.

Hart launched his professional wrestling career in 1978 with Stampede Wrestling, founded by his father, Stu Hart. He rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s during his tenure with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE), leading the Hart Foundation, a faction comprising family members and allies. Following the infamous "Montreal Screwjob" in 1997, he transitioned to World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he continued to achieve success until a concussion led to his retirement in 2000.

In 2001, Hart briefly served as the commissioner for World Wrestling All-Stars but faced health challenges after a stroke in 2002. After recovery, he made sporadic appearances in independent promotions and returned to WWE in 2005.
