Gérard Darmon, born on February 29, 1948, is a distinguished French-Moroccan actor and singer, celebrated for his compelling performances in cinema. With a career that spans several decades, Darmon has garnered significant recognition, earning two nominations for the prestigious César Award for Best Supporting Actor. His remarkable performances in the iconic films "Betty Blue" (1987) and the comedic hit "Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra" (2003) stand out as career highlights.
Beyond his cinematic achievements, Darmon is also known for his musical talents, including a notable cover of "Mambo Italiano," showcasing his versatility as an artist. He has a rich family life, having been married twice, with actress Mathilda May being his second wife.
