Choi Jin-ri, known professionally as Sulli, was born on March 29, 1994, and tragically passed away on October 14, 2019. Sulli was a multifaceted talent from South Korea, recognized as a singer, songwriter, actress, and model. She first captured the public's eye as a child actress in 2005, portraying the young Princess Seonhwa of Silla in the SBS drama "Ballad of Seodong."
In 2009, Sulli took a significant step in her career by joining the popular girl group f(x), where she quickly became a prominent figure in the K-pop scene. Her time with the group lasted until 2015 when she decided to shift her focus toward acting. Following a hiatus of three years from the music industry, Sulli made a notable return in 2018, collaborating with artist Dean on the single "Dayfly."
In June 2019, she launched her solo career with the release of her single album "Goblin," showcasing her growth as an artist and her unique musical style. Throughout her career, Sulli was celebrated not only for her artistic contributions but also for her candidness and advocacy for mental health awareness.
